What is Udyam Registration?
Udyam Registration is the new simplified Government of India process for micro, small and medium enterprise registration under Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME).
It has replaced the earlier Udyog Aadhaar process from 1st July 2020 with an all-paperless, Aadhaar-authenticated process-linked to PAN and GST systems as a step to minimize paperwork and human errors.

Shift from Udyog Aadhaar to Udyam
You'll have to re-register in Udyam if you are already registered in Udyog Aadhaar (UAM). As per government rules:
